Ringo Starr’s bloodlines are truly exceptional, combining proven performance and elite pedigree. His sire, Jethro Tull G, is a highly successful stallion in North America, having competed up to the 1.50m jumpers and now progressing toward becoming an International Hunter Derby contender. Jethro Tull G’s lineage includes multiple horses that have competed successfully at the 1.60m level, underscoring his strong jumping ability and athletic heritage. On his dam’s side, Twice Gold, Ringo Starr boasts an impressive lineage featuring two Olympic gold medalists. The other is Jus de Pomme, who earned double gold at the 1996 Olympics, securing both individual and team gold medals. Ringo Starr was tested by the UC Davis Veterinary Genetics Laboratory and was confirmed homozygous black. This means he can only produce black or bay offspring and will only produce grey foals if bred to a grey dam.
